A modern polymath — also known as Renaissance person, Multipotentialite, Jack of all trades — is more likely to thrive in a global pandemic than a specialist in one domain of expertise.

🤯 Why the heck am I doing this? Yesterday, I spent nearly 6 hours on creating a new logo and style guide for my artist brand. Today, I’m building a site to showcase my portfolio, upcoming products & get hired as freelance surface pattern designer 😉
I had doubts to join the #tweet100 challenge if I can remain consistent, but then I remembered that I once made a streak of over 100 days in another challenge with a lot more time commitment. During that 108 days, I learned a lot, embraced the artist in me & nourished my soul.
Some asked me how I deal with depression & chronic pain as an entrepreneur? I’ve 2 modes: 1. Thriving 📈 a full schedule & growth actions to thrive 2. Maintenance ⚙️ low energy tasks for the most important stuff & deadlines to keep it running
Today’s polymath needs to be skilled in more than one area of life. For example, someone with skills in business development, digital art and programming might be considered a contemporary renaissance person.
Thoughts about changing the career path direction: Leaving familiar paths and taking the plunge into the unknown requires courage and trust. But if you wake up in the morning already with a sense of anticipation, it can only be right because #MentalHealthMatters!
My self-educated journey as a digital artist started in 2000, but it took about 20 years to take it to another level. After almost 20 years providing services as web designer, teacher, coach and consultant, I’m looking forward to focus more on my creative expressions.
